December 2001:
| The Crescendo ensemble had their first public
performance as key entertainment at the Four Points Sheraton during
the Christmas season. A challenging repertoire ranging from traditional
folk melodies to Christmas favourites was excellently interpreted with
apparent ease, all without benefit of a conductor. Crescendo's complex
harmonies, confident vocal teamwork, and charming musical style
brightened the season for all those fortunate to have attended. The
staff and friends of the BC ministries of Sustainable Resource
Management and Water Land & Air Protection thank all the members
of Crescendo (Laura Brunet, Samantha Dubinsky, Laura Fedoruk,
Caroline Harris, Stephanie McGlenen, Jenny Porteous,
Deanna Pulak, Laura Rodgers, and Christie Ross)
for their very special performance.
See and hear Crescendo's "Sweet Afton"... 56k
